How is it that seeing movies is so wonderful? Is it the big screen to enjoy the movie

? Could it be the smell of freshly popped popcorn coming in from the lobby? Or it may be the anticipation of watching the coming attractions.

Maybe it is the fun of 3D that draws you to the movies. Whatever it is, there is one thing that seeing a good movie and getting a good movie experience cannot do without, and that is the sound. The sound is part of the experience. Sometimes, especially when you are seeing an action packed adventure, it could be most of the movie.

It just wouldn't be the same if you didn't feel the rumbling of the jet engines or the whoosh of the space ship as it rockets across the galaxy. Well, all of these things that make the movies so great can be had at home. You can make your own popcorn and many of the new release DVD's and Blu-rays have lots of coming attractions on the disc. You can even get a 3D television and watch movies that look just as good as or better than they do in the theater.

You can get that awesome theater sound in your home with a surround sound system. Just be sure that if you live in an apartment, that you're courteous to your neighbors. Nothing kills the mood of watching a great movie, whether it's a romance or an action flick, quicker or with longer lasting consequence than having a policeman knocking at your door because there have been complaints from your neighbors.

The mood can be affected and puts your relationship with the others in your building in jeopardy. Just keep that in mind when you're blasting the sound while you're watch that ne Fast and furious movie. Anyway, depending on the size of the room, you might not need to turn the volume up to eleven. And that is why it is important to buy a system that fits the room that it is going to be used in. You want the experience to be a good one, and you don't want the sound to be a distraction. The same can be said about buying a system that is too weak for the room. Imagine trying to enjoy the movie experience and not being able to get the sound to match the performance of the picture.
