Here is a holiday idea for you: go to La Manga and follow the different paths for walking in order to discover the region and its surroundings.

Walking in Calblanque

Calblanque was designated as a Nature Reserve in 1992. It is a natural park where tourists love to go for long walks, because the surroundings are very rewarding: picturesque landscapes which include beaches, hills, even salt flats and a cliff here and there. While here, you can also have the chance to see some amazing species in their natural habitat and even spend a few days in the middle of nature in the zone designated for camping.

Walks taken along the coasts

La Manga is very proud of its Mar Menor and its salted lakes. Those who choose to go for a walk around the salted lake will enjoy an amazing view; you can either go to contemplate the beauties of the place or, for the adventurous ones, you can test your endurance in the area which is full of coves. Costa Calida is another popular place among tourists; the unique characteristic of the coast is that it is still virgin in many regions. Man hasnt spoiled it yet because of the fact that most of the area is protected by law.

Hiking in La Manga

La Fuente Hillock is a place that tourists absolutely love. Why is that? Well, after just an hour of hiking (others would describe it as a three kilometer walk), the view that opens in front of your eyes is breathtaking. The ascent begins in Los Belones, very close to the Sierra de Espuna Natural Park. The Park is only recommended to those who are in a good shape, as the terrain is a little rough. People usually want to reach the 5,200 feet peak of Sierra de Espuna Mountain, but if you are not a very active person, you can go there for a horse riding session. I think that a holiday spent in the outdoors is a wonderful idea, especially for those who are young, very active, and in love with nature. Enjoy it!
