Spanish League- Real Madrid Crashed Real Zaragoza 6-0

Real Madrid managed to beat Real Zaragoza last weekend with a crushing score of 6-0

. Real played with absolute superiority and showed a highly skilled soccer team.

After this result, the fifth consecutive win, the White team shows it has a very well defined game plan. The players want to leave behind the irregular performance that they had during the start of this Spanish League season.

The Meringues started the game owning the pace moving plays over to the sides. They clearly overshadowed the performance of their opponents, who could not develop their level of play.

In this match, the team led by Manuel Pellegrini made it very clear that it wanted to get closer to Barcelona, the Spanish League leader. To accomplish this, the Chilean coach based his strategy on Mahamadou Diarra, who played as the starting midfielder, in place of injured Xabi Alonso.

The Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay was the other player who contributed in the tactics of Pellegrini. Garay collaborated effectively by passing out the ball, distributing plays accordingly. The Brazilian defender Marcelo received one of those passes, which he sent later to striker Gonzalo Higuain, who was in charge of opening the score for his team in the first 5 minutes.

Real Zaragoza was still unable to match its rivals. Still, they tried not to lose their concentration in any moment. Assisted by Marcelo, it was up to Dutchman Rafael van der Vaart to score the second goal of the game in the 26th minute. The midfielder was able to repeat the feat just 2 minutes later.

Real Madrid scored again thanks to the Argentine Higuain. He entered without any problems into the rivals area, from where he sent a powerful shot to the bottom of the goal of goalkeeper Javier Lpez Vallejo.

With a 4-0 lead, the home team closed the first half shining with style. They did not give even the slightest chance to their weak opponents.

In the second half the game was developing with the same tone. The locals increased their pace and put even greater pressure upon their visitors.

Thats when Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned after a previous suspension, had his moment of glory by making with style the 5-0 at minute 50. The Portuguese managed to surpass two rivals so he could sent the ball into the goal of goalkeeper Maos.

At this point of the meeting and without any options, those led by Jos Aurelio Gay just tried their best to keep up with their opponents.

The Real Madrid players did not drop the intense game they established from the beginning. With a clear victory, Pellegrini made a few changes. He let French striker Karim Benzema enter the field, and it was Benzema who scored the sixth goal in the minute 71.

In the end Zaragoza revealed its weaknesses, while Madrid demonstrated the good work of his coach, who has created a solid structure and constantly worries about making each part of his team function flawlessly.

With this triumph, Real Madrid added two more points to secure the second place of the Spanish League with 37 points, just two behind FC Barcelona.
