Spider Man 4 Games

Well there is no word yet as to what will be featured in the Spider Man 4 game; all

we know is that the movie is likely to be in theaters for May, 2011. However, I tracked down some rumors and fan wish lists for what will be included in the new game whenever it does come out.

One idea that has been mentioned on a wish list is to create your own web slinging action and be able to share it with friends online. That could definitely be a cool option.

Another is to create something like a Sims environment. Basically, the idea here would be that depending on your choice of villain to fight and depending on what kind of actions you choose for your over-all game, Spidey could be deemed a hero or a villain by the people of New York and possibly you could even influence what other characters do, just like a Sims environment.

Of course one of the biggest complaints is that the graphics from previous games really didn't do justice to the friendly neighborhood Spider Man and they should be improved tremendously for the newest game. Not to mention that if we're going to see any villains in the new movie, the game should follow the movie.

Personally, I'm not so sure I'd want to see the Spider Man 4 game follow the movie though. One of the nice things about playing one of the games based on movies is that you get to see a different story line than what you saw on the big screen. There are new surprises and action around every corner, something which you wouldn't get by having a game which follows the movie too closely.

Another cool idea that has been suggested would to be to play from a different perspective entirely. You could play from the point of view of a villain who is fighting against Spidey and see if you can beat the human spider himself. That would definitely be an unusual choice, but it's highly unlikely to make it into the newest game based on the films. Then again, I could totally picture playing from the point of view of the Lizard (the likely villain in the new movie) since he is an extremely intelligent college professor who could potentially pose a formidable threat to Spidey.

So what can we expect to see in the new Spider Man 4 game? We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
