There are many people who act as sports fans for charitable causes

. These persons aren't fussy about the type of sport that they choose to support, but typically on the activities' attributes that the charity so reaps. 'Giving back' is the goal that's of main concern.

There are many fields that sports can contribute, with respect to the development of specific areas, such as special need events (Special Olympics), organizations to promote money for individuals stricken with terminal illnesses, funding of medical research (Aids Foundation), immediate disastrous needs (Haiti fund), local charities and individuals in need of assistance pertaining to extreme circumstances. There are many organizations that benefit from sport enthusiasts donating money to their causes, which is accomplished through the medium of sports, and this is what these enthusiasts target.

These individuals are not only promoting a sport activity or event to fans that love the sport, but are helping causes that could mean "life or death" to their recipients, as well as enjoyment and financial aid that those persons in distress so need.
