. However when it comes to choosing the sports jacket it can get a little bit more confusing. The nice thing about a sports jacket is one can be more liberal and more business casual for example.
It's important that a man have at least one sports jacket amongst their clothing wardrobe. Many times it is referred to as a blazer or sports coat. The nice part about the sports jacket is that it can be mixed and matched with a variety of other pieces of clothing. One thing that has to be remembered is, that there is occasion where ties are worn with sports jackets. It's a matter of learning what is appropriate for what event.
For example, in the case of the office one would most likely want to wear a tie with the sports jacket with a coordinating pair of pants. On the other hand if one is going to a casual type party than the sports jacket without a tie will work very well. Most often some men will wear their suit jackets in place of the sports jacket. Meaning they will wear a different color pair of pants. Some men are partial to wearing a navy blue suit jacket with a pair of light gray pants. This works well on occasion. However if one does this on a constant basis what will happen is the suit jacket will eventually fade and this will be noticeable when the attire is worn as a complete suit again. The pants will have retained their natural color and the difference will be noticeable.
When it comes to choosing the right sports jacket there is a lot of things to consider. First of all one has to determine how much they want to spend on their sports jacket attire. If an individual is looking at buying two or three then it gives them a little bit more flexibility in their choices. For example, one could be of a light color while the other is dark and both being in solid shades, with the third being the type of patterns such as a hounds tooth for example.
The other thing that must be considered as well is the season that the sports jacket will be worn. For the colder months the wool blend sports jackets are the best choice whereas in the summer spring months the lighter jackets are a better choice as well. If the budget is a item that must be considered then using a sports jacket for the winter months would probably be more feasible. The reason being is you will get more use out of the jacket during the winter months. During the warm months many men tend not to go with the sports jacket and opt for a light silk suit.
