Have players stand on opposite sides of the party area. In this game, each team designates a David and a Goliath for their team and tells only the referee the identities of both. At any time the Goliath is eliminated, the entire team loses. The player selected as David can bring in one previous player who was eliminated by catching the ball thrown to him or her. For example, if two players are eliminated David can call for one of them to return. If David catches another ball thrown his or her way they can call for a second player and so on. The only person who knows who knows David & Goliath are the team and the referee for the game. The game ends when all the players on one side are eliminated.
Football Throw is also ideal for a Sports party. Position a pyramid stack of tin cans on a flat surface. The object of the game is to throw the football knocking all the tin cans off the platform. Award points on those who knock off all the tin cans off the platform. If there are 10 tin cans, and a player knocks off all but one can, then that player scores 9 points. If a player knocks off all the cans they receive 25 points.
Bean Bag Toss would be greatly enjoyed by Sports party guests. Bean Bag Toss is a classic game and can be played in smaller party areas. Set up buckets or heavy glass on the floor. The object of the game is to throw the bean bags inside the containers. Have each player stand behind the throwing line. The winner will be the player who can throw all the bean bags in containers in the fewest amounts of throws.
Soccer Bowling. Soccer Bowling is played by placing soda bottles on the ground filled with a little bit of water in each soda bottle. The object of the game is to kick the soccer ball towards the bottles knocking them down. The only different between this game and bowling is that Soccer Bowling requires players to kick a ball rather than throw one at the pins.
