Shopping for double glazing during the spring means time is on the buyer's side. They can shop around to find a reputable company to supply and fit their new windows - one which may already have a successful track record and a list of satisfied customers in their area.

A wise move is to contact a company which gathers and then passes on personal recommendations of local double glazing firms. When such a large investment is involved, testimonials from previous satisfied customers go a long way to giving peace of mind that the trades people being engaged are likely to take pride in the work they do. After all, those windows are going to be keeping the house warm - and looking good - for several years.
