These are now determined to belong to dinosaurs that used to roam the land millions of years ago. The land these prints were found on now belongs to the city of St. George so anyone can go and view the ancient imprints.
It has since been turned into a museum, called the St. George Discovery Site. The Discovery Site houses many different dinosaur remains and hosts many fun learning activities.
Although most of the land is red rock in this beautiful city, there are the Pine Valley Mountains located just to the north. In the Pine Valley Mountains you can camp, hike, fish, and even hunt through the wooded and green hills.
If you love running there is an annual St. George Marathon that you should know about. Runners race past red rock and some of the other best scenery found in the world.
This race has been highly acclaimed by critics for many years and is highly attended.
