Stainless Steel Profiles, The Foundation Of Several Industries
Stainless steel is widely used metal alloy and has been in use since many decades
. It is the heart of the industry and is considered as the most essential substance for all the industries ranging from heavy manufacturing units to construction units, electrical to automobiles, residential and office appliances making industries and many more. In addition to this, its metallurgy features are such that it makes them rust and corrosion resistant as well as strong and durable. Besides, it has low maintenance, which proves to be a cost effective solutions for the industries all around the world.
With such rich features of this metal, industries nowadays are constantly searching for ideal steel profiles that not only match their industry standards, but also meet their quality requirement. Though it is considered as the essential substance, the SS products are considered as the foundation of the industries. These products are converted into different profiles with various varieties and types along with different grades and shapes. The two most widely used SS profiles are SS flat wires and SS shape wires. Let us go through these two profiles.
Stainless Steel Flat Wires SS flat wires or ribbons are durable, vigorous, corrosion and rust resistant form of steel that are generally used by the construction units where the chloride level in the soil of the site is high. As these SS flat wires are combined with the element called Molybdenum, they are highly corrosion resistive. Because of these properties, SS flat wires help construction units to build long lasting buildings.
Stainless Steel Shape Wires SS shape wires are the special purpose wires that are only used for welding metals. They possess the same quality as of SS flat wires such as high durability, high corrosive resistive, sturdy and rust free. However, these shape wires can be used everywhere including the construction units for welding purpose. These shape wires are further categorized into SS MIG wires, SS TIG wires and SS SAW wires.
1.SS MIG wires MIG is the acronym for metal inert gas and is a welding process in which a shielding gas is fed with the welding gun along with wire electrode to melt and join a metal piece together. The electrode wires used in this process are SS MIG wire.
2.SS TIG wires TIG is the acronym for tungsten inert gas and is a welding process that is generally used for welding thin sections of non ferrous metals and stainless steel. The electrode wires used in this process are SS TIG wires.
3.SS SAW wires SAW is the acronym for submerged arc welding process that is used to weld carbon steel, nickel based alloy and low alloy steel. The electrode wires used in this process are SS SAW wires.
