Standard And Poors Rated Samsung As Surpass Over Nokia

S&P Ratings, on Friday, have declared that Nokia has failed to make its mark this time and thus

, ratings have dropped down. At the same time Samsung has managed to leapfrog Nokia in the race and broke 14 years of leading record of Nokia. The key for the success of former is its latest and unmatched technology which was appreciated and desired by one and all.

As far as Nokia is concerned, it has been around 14 years that Finnish firm had ruled the mobile markets across the world. S&P, to this, warned Nokia that it has faced heavy drop-down during the end of this month and that the firm will be facing the same cut-down in ratings in future if performances and features are not enhanced. On the other side Samsung Co. is celebrating its success over Nokia after beating Apple in the first quarter of the year. Samsung has now reached the top spot of the smartphone listings after going through a numerous ups and downs throughout its trading. It will not be called as immense but spectacular achievement for the South Korean firm.

CLSA analyst, Matt Evans taking a look over entire scenario stated Samsungs victory as overturn of Nokias setback in Q1 of the year. Where Samsungs over all proceeds has increased by one third of total, Nokia has lost one third of its total revenue, as per the results announced on closing on Friday. In all, around 1.37 millions of benefit is attained by Samsung Co. and low as 2.73 of total was collected by Nokia.

The result was, though, obvious as it could be seen from the first week of Samsungs handsets sales. Over 93.5 millions handsets were sold out during that particular single week of its opening and won 25.4 per cent of share in world mobile markets. While Nokia managed to grab 22.5 per cent of global mobile markets share with its 82.7 million units of cell phones sold out. Coming to shipment part, Samsungs estimated units shipped during the first quarter is 44.5 million covering 30.6 per cent of market. In contrast, Apples estimated cell phone units shipped at the same time is around 35.1 million.
