Stanway stackable chairs encompass the best of both worlds -seats that bothstack up and link together. This makes them the premier choice for many uses. Understated elegance is the by-word of theStanway stacking chairs. Its robust steel frame of oval tubing and steel rod perfectly complements the elegant, timeless design, which comes in a range of finishes including nylon and chrome. And, of course, theStanway freestanding chair gives an exceptional level of comfort.

Fully upholstered, it is also available with thicker, more generous foam and a deeper back to provide extra comfort and postural support. Theseats and backs are also available in a polished beech veneered laminate or can be made to a mix of laminate and upholstery as required.

Easily put out and put away, theStanway is an extremely lightweight but very robust free-standing chair. It is a product engineered to last. The design allows both tightstacking and simple removal with a complementary mobile trolley that can store up to 30chairs at a time. This also allows the whole stack to be transported effortlessly and speedily through a standard doorway. To enhance safety, the rubber-tyred swivel castors on the trolley are braked. The tubular steel trolley, which accompanies this highly versatile freestanding chair, is finished in black nylon and can accommodate both armed and armless chairs or a combination of the two.

Available in a variety of coloured plastic laminates, a removable writing tablet can be incorporated into theStanway seating system. It attaches easily to the chair via a special plastic fitting and, when fixed is extremely rigid, making theStanway free standing seating system ideal for use in educational environments such aslecture theatres, schools, colleges and universities.

Where required, special unobtrusive fittings can be specified which allowchairs to be firmly linked together. To further enhance row stability, row-linking bars are available to ensure constant row spacing.

Also available is a document holder, which locates between seats when they are linked. This unique feature enables the safe and tidy distribution of documents prior to any conference or lecture. TheStanway seating system is an ideal choice fore educational environments of all shapes and sizes.
