Marines are the basic infantry unit for the Terran race.They are really inexpensive,fast to make and can atack both air and ground units.
A good Terran player would not use marines independently because they get wiped out very quickly.The best function for the marine is that of assistance.Squads of marines are always best in conjunction with additional units in particular marrauders and the hellion.
The Marine does 6 injury to air and ground units, 6.97 damage per second. Once upgraded with Stimpack it is able to compromise 10 hp so that you can increase its fire rate and move speed for a limited amount of time.
They work wonderfully with Medivacs and in groupings with Marauders. They can be crammed into a Bunker, protecting them as well as increasing their range of fire by 1 point. Marines Versus Terran Players
