Every group of individuals or experiments contains own numerical data. The usage of numerical information in an effective way is called as statistical method which gives the statistical meaning. Statistics concentrates in the designing surveys and related experiments by involving data collection under planning process. Some considerations are data collection and data analysis and interpretation. Statistical method refers to three kind of meanings known as statistical meaning.

(2) Singular Sense

(3) Plural of the word Statistic

Statistical Meaning (or) Statistical Senses:

Plural Sense:

Collection of numerical facts and also the related figures comes under the statistical meaning in plural sense. These will be in definite purpose in systemic manner under plural sense. This is also consider as the facts aggregations that will be in the numerical form expression. For example, statistics on industrial production, statistics or population growth of a country in different years and also the variations in eligible candidates for voting every year, etc.

statistical meaning-Singular Sense:

Collection of numerical data and their analysis, then the interpretation and presentation of corresponding numerical data comes under the singular sense of statistical meaning.In the concluding process of population parameters and also like voting parameters this type of singular sense is well suited one and most widely used.

For Example:

If we want to have a study about the average ages of students in a certain school, first we need to collect the information regarding the ages of students from the records or directly form the students. The larger variations in ages will give us the confusion.

For this situation we must arrange the ages in groups as: 5-10, 10-15 and above 15. So that we will get detailed information about students ages. This step is called data presentation. Proceeding the process in advance the average ages of students will be obtained.

Plural of Word Statistic:

In sample value calculations we used to find mean, median, variance and so on for the statistics. This statistics means that plural form of the word statistic.

For Example:

If we select 25 studens from a class of 100 students, to calculate their average ages, then this process is said to be the statistic.
