When I can manage to stay calm, no matter what goes on in my life

, boy, do I conserve a lot of energy. Many of you that are sick are not sick because you have anything physically wrong with you, you're sick because you never shut down inside. You're sick because you've spent all your life getting upset and trying to calm down, about the time you calm down, you get upset again, then you try to calm down, then you get mad, then you try to get over it, then you get mad, then you try to get over it, then you get offended and you try to get over it, then you get mad at somebody and you have to work a week to forgive them, and it's just this endless cycle of upset, upset, upset, upset. Well, you ought to clap because I'm telling you the truth tonight. Amen? Amen!:

Here's my revelation tonight: the world is not going to change and the devil's not going to change, and all the people in your life probably won't change and even if they do and they become real nice, there will be some others planted in your life that aren't so nice. So here's my revelation: the world's not going to change, the devil's not going to change, people are not going to change, so I've decided to change. Whoo!: Hallelujah!: I don't remember now how many years ago it was but several years ago, I got jealous of my husband's peace, and that's not a bad thing.

I saw me driving myself crazy and having all these physical problems and running to the doctor all the time and being worn-out all the time. Dave felt good every day. Dave was happy every day. We're in the same family. We're in the same house. We have the same kids. We have the same problems, the same situations, the same things to deal with, but yet, he stayed happy and I stayed upset. I worried and he'd cast his care. Amen? Amen.:
