Stenline Ireland King Of The Irish Sea, And James Bond Is Not

Everyone is now aware that the new James Bond movie

, Skyfall has been released worldwide and to much acclaim i might add, even though I personally am not a big fan, cant really put my finger on it, but I.m not....

I kinda find them boring, and of course there are some great scenes in the films but it doesn't really float my boat as the saying goes...

Anyway i was thinking of this and the fact that James bond probably first introduced the phone to a car, then called a car phone and it seems like it was literally pulled from the wall and put in the Aston Martin DB5, if i am not mistaken.... And i thought that was so cool, but it would never get past this stage and was only available for super spy's like Jame Bond 007....

Anyway fast forward to the early nineties when mobile phones really started to take off and then fast forward to the current day and nearly everyone has some form of a mobile phone as they are so affordable nowadays....

And here I am staring out to the Irish sea and Thinking of the 1977 Bond Movie called 'The Spy who loved me' when the first submersible car was seen. And if I remember correctly the car plunged into the sea and then transformed into a sub with the flick of a switch.
