Steps In Communication Audit

Communication is a very crucial, be it in the life of an individual or that of a company

. There are two ways in which company generally communicates i.e internally and externally. In internal communication the interaction is between the employees at various levels. But in external communication the interaction is between the organization and the stakeholders. If there is miscommunication internally then it may result into dissatisfaction among the employees. This also makes the employee feel demotivated which further aggravates the problem. If there is faculty in external communication then it may have bad impact on the reputation of the company. So it is very important for the organizations to deliver the quality communication internally as well as externally. It helps the company to achieve the success.

Communication audit is the need of an hour. It is the way of verifying that whether the appropriate communication is done. In this process each and every part of the communication is verified that is taking place outside as well as inside the organization. After that gaps are found which facilitates us to find the solution. Most of the organizations nowadays are using the communication audit in order to bring the enhanced communication. There are certain steps which need to be followed for communication process:

Define the audience which you want to cover. After that make the plans that are required to connect them. You even have to verify the current channels of communication. Your main aim should be to make the channels more effective.

5.Plan for Improvement.

This is the main point of Communication Audit. In this you should measure the current standards with the pre determined standards. This will show you the qualitative data which will help you to keep track on the communication strategy

6.Execute the Plan.

Last not but the least create an implementation plan. You should focus on the people who have the most immediate impact.
