Steve Jobs And The Iphone

Steve Jobs got started very early, he built Apple from a small company in a garage

at his parents home and it quickly grew into a reputable firm within 4 years. Jobs main focus on progressive development was design and ease of use.

In 1985, after his ideas were not conforming to the technology based battle against Microsoft, he fell out with co-founder Steve Wozniak and was subsequently sacked by the management team he had hired. This proved to be a mistake on Apples part and 12 years later when the company was losing ground on the rest of the consumer technology industry Jobs returned and began to revolutionise the Apple brand, Jobs created a new way for consumers to relate to and a new reason to desire the technology which was on offer, he prompted millions to embrace digital technology, online media and mobile communications in a way they never did before.

In 2007 Steve jobs unveiled the original iPhone after ten years of returning to Apple.

The world went crazy for the smart sleek phone that combined the Newton handheld device with the smartness of Apple products.

People queued for hours and hours outside the Apple store in New York, eagerly waiting to pay the $600 that the first iPhone cost- showing peoples ultimate trust in the man that changed technology as we know it, proved by one man being offered $1,200 for his place in the queue.

Five months after Jobs announced Apple's transition into the mobile phone business, the iPhone become the most universally anticipated launch in the history of a mobile phone.

Steve jobs took the iPhone through its stages pretty quickly and by 2011 we have just seen the arrival of the iPhone 4S . Here is a brief timeline of the iPhone major releases:

June 29th 2007- Original iPhone released

July 11th 2008- iPhone 3G released

June 19th 2009- iPhone 3Gs released

June 24th 2010- iPhone 4 released

October 4th 2011- iPhone 4S released

Last week Samsung announced that they are delaying the launch of the Galaxy Nexus as a mark of respect for Steve Jobs.

Beijing are remembering Steve jobs with a shrine outside the iPhone store and the internet is heaving with articles about the man that took Apple to the level it is it, with some even questioning the future of Apple without such an innovative mind behind its products.
