Steve Korch was born in 1950. Presently he is a full-time professor teaching applied theology and communication skills at Western Seminary in Northern California. With a B.A. in history from Biola University and M.Div. from Western Seminary, Steve has over twenty years of experience in small, medium and large churches and is using that experience as a ministry coach for churches in SF bay area. Steve Korch has also an author. His first book, My Soul Thirsts, has been received very well by readers. Other books being written by Steve Korch include Coming to Your Senses, The Legionnaire's Son and The Presence."Coming to Your Senses" responds to readers' questions about personal transformation. Steve Korch faced a significant change in his own life when he joined the Army after his first semester in college and served as a co-pilot in Vietnam for a year. He completed his education after his time in Army and then he served as the pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Lincoln City, Oregon for nine years. He played an important role in launching several development programs such as a Christian bookstore and a Christian kindergarten. He served at Fair Oaks Baptist Church in Concord, California for three years from 1987. Steve Korch CA then served as senior pastor of First Baptist Church in San Mateo from 1990 to 1999. Steve has been a devoted follower of Jesus for more than forty years and as a senior pastor, he has helped many others discover the personal transformation that comes from knowing Jesus.

Steve Korch is a professor and the Director of Pastoral Training at Western Seminary.
