The addictions and disorders can make someone forget their worries for a very short period of time, once they get back to reality after the effects is reduced, the reality hits them even harder. To overcome that effect these people again, take shelter of the addiction and binge eating. Binge eating disorder (BED) is one of the most commonly found disorders in the people. The term "Binge Eating Disorder" was coined to describe the same binging-type eating behavior i.e. eating excessive without the nocturnal component. BED usually leads to obesity. Although it can occur in normal weight individuals, later it develops into obesity problem. There may be a genetic inheritance factor involved in BED.

This eating disorder is somewhat similar to the compulsive overeating. This is also found in a bulimia nervosa. Binge eating disorder is twice as common among women as among men. The disorder is found in all ethno-cultural and racial populations. People who are obese and have binge eating disorder often became overweight at a very younger age than those without the disorder. They might also lose and gain back weight more often, or be paranoid about gaining weight, the fluctuation continues. There are various best eating disorder treatment centers present. These centers offer compassionate and empathetic binge eating disorder treatment for their clients. The main problem faced by consuming greater volume of food within shorter span leads to obesity. This obesity may lead to various other problems which can be more dangerous and complicated. People tend to eat more when they are upset, emotional disturbance leads to overeating and by doing so, forgetting the worries. This disorder cannot be treated by oneself, one should seek expert advice and clinical support for overcoming the BED. Controlling oneself to overcome this disorder can lead to relapse of it, once the control is loosened a bit.
