Strictly Come Dancing 2010 Announces the New Series Line Up

Get your tutu on, polish up those dance shoes and ready that sofa because Strictly Come Dancing is back!

Fitting the bill perfectly for a lazy Saturday night in with all the family, everyone's favourite BBC show has returned what must be the twenty-hundredth series (I am reliably informed it might be closer to series 8) and it has a cracking lineup as ever.

There's the immediate favourites ex Destiny's Child singer (and dancer) Michelle Williams, who has already starred on the stage in Chicago, might be deemed an early front runner, alongside the more active Gavin Henson and ex-Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker. There's also the less potential-full, perhaps the Ann Widdecombes and Paul Daniels of this world. But don't rule them out, for there's always a good chance that wily Widdecombe will stick on her salsa shoes and crack out the most flavourful salsa since Gordon Ramsay last cooked fajitas. And who is to say Paul Daniels won't work his magic (geddit?) on the dancefloor and squeeze into his ballet shoes like he was born to pirouette.

Anyway, the series is completed by such big names as Felicity Kendal, Goldie, Jimi Mistry and even ex-England goalkeeper Peter Shilton alongside all our favourite pros (and a few new ones too). The list will no doubt be quickly whittled down to only those truly deserving to wear their dance shoes with pride. Here's hoping for a cracking series!
