As people treat this concept in various ways, it should be analyzed in the same ways as well. When people are aware of the concept from their friends, roommates, neighbors, television, and other sources of information, their comprehension is different from knowledge of people that know about the college life from their own experience. So, it is necessary to explode a myth about the student life in college and other related stereotypes.

Some people know about the college life from the college-themed movies and glossies. This category of TV-watchers is the main source of different stereotypes. Do not believe the old lady living in the neighborhood that college is the cradle of evil' because she cannot know she never finished the high school. You should not believe your classmate that student life is cool, lewd, and cheeky' because he/she knows this from the American Pie. Moving into a dorm requires learning about the norms and prohibitions existing on campuses.
