Student Media As A Part Of Student Culture In A Persons Life.

While being students people often enroll themselves in various activities such as student media

. It is not always necessary for a person to be a journalist with a proper and suitable degree in order to write articles and reflect the events happening in society in public. Here are some facts concerning journalism as an activity of a student culture.

1.Student media works efficiently due to Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School District. The title stands for the group of people known as first to have worn black armbands to oppose the war in Vietnam. Generally whole branch of journalism including mass media and broadcasting usually opposes some governments decisions that are considered to be cruel or unjust. This is the case with Tinker v. Those belonging to African American society generally focus their attention on educational system, market, welfare and cultural stability of the country while some other ethnic groups consider these issues of minor importance.

3.Pretty often university administration resorts to constitutional protections standing up for their rights. Constitution actually says that no action would ever stand against freedom of speech and press. In most cases this statement appears as unbreakable.

4.Some newspaper agencies work for the government while certain are owned by private companies. Those owned are called private agencies. They have rules that slightly differ from the government ones.

5.Demanding new content is another issue the media student faces. The shift in content demands more time dedicated to writing reports, essays and articles while many students find it hard to cut an hour or two of the spare time to write several pages on an issue they are interested in.
