A citizen in South Carolina contacted the police after spotting a female riding on a horseback in the middle of the street completely intoxicated

. When the police arrived, they noticed that this female had parked the horse and tied it to a bench in front of a convenience store. Upon confronting the alleged female, the officer found out that she was going to visit her partner and didnt have a car and saw a horse nearby which urged her to steal the horse. She denied that she was wrong and blamed the horse and said that the horse was drunk which was the reason for such bad driving down the street. Some heavily intoxicated people try to make up sensible excuses but the officer found out that this criminal fell in a different category of criminals and charged her with disorderly conduct. In another city in the United States, a detective was on the lookout for a criminal who stole a water bottle and punched the store clerk as well. As the detective was sitting in his car, the passenger door opened and a man jumped inside and asked the detective to get out of the car because he was going to steal it. The man turned out to be the water bottle thief. The detective started laughing and then pulled out his gun and arrested the suspect who had an excuse ready. In a campground in northern Ohio was another incident where an individual had consumed too much alcohol and started fights with people and also started kicking a dog cage. The suspect was growling but when he started talking, he spoke in a Russian accent and threatened to kill the deputys cousin Keith. The suspects luck didnt go along with him, as the deputy did not have a cousin named Keith. The suspect then realized that he was not successful in intimidating the deputy. He then began to explain that a wolf scratched him in Germany which forces him to prowl and attack every night once the moon comes out. He also mentioned that he was arrested in Germany for public intoxication, which was true. The deputies then connected the dots and realized that the reason for such a violent behavior is not due to a scratch but due to binge drinking.

On one night in Minnesota, a woman was putting her children to sleep while she heard a loud noise from her house. She went downstairs and noticed a man and a woman running from the back door. She chased them and saw them loading bags on their bicycles. A neighbor immediately blocked them with his car and called the police. The thieves were a couple who stole a laptop, desktop, toolbox, the womans purse and a few other small items. When the cops questioned the female suspect, she said that they had seen this house listed as a free house on Craigslist as the owner was moving out hurriedly and anyone was free to take anything from the house. She then further went on to explain that she tried calling the house before coming but nobody responded so she immediately started filling up bags. The police did not believe them and immediately arrested them.

Another incident in Cincinnati had crossed all the limits of stupid excuses. A male was walking up to his car one morning when he spotted a guy inside sleeping half naked. The owner immediately called the cops and the stranger said that he had done drugs and a leprechaun opened the car door and let the stranger inside. He did not mention as to why the leprechaun told the stranger to wait inside another mans car. The stranger was eventually arrested. Looking at these instances, we come to know what kind of excuses people give to get away from the police.
