Years ago when we were younger, every Sunday we get to wear dresses, suits, hats and dress shoes. In the old days, casual attire is unacceptable because it shows a lack of respect for God and parishioners. But today, appropriate attire is entirely casual although most people still opt for the traditional "Sunday Best" clothes. Of course, you are attending church, one must look his best but not overdoing it. It is essential that when going to church, being well-dressed and presentable is an utmost importance because you show respect in a house of worship.

Nothing can absolutely make you feel better when you are wearing your best Sunday dress. Especially if you're going to church with your family and friends to pray or simply attend a wedding ceremony, mass or a holy communion.

Appropriate ladies church suits are dresses that are modest and simple such as a dress suit which is comprised of a skirt and a jacket and sometimes with a hat to complete the English look. Women in England usually have tailor made outfits for attending church. Or you could always go for something modern like formal pants with a white formal blouse and a pearl necklace to add more style.

Long tops over fitted pants is suitable as well or a white flowing skirt and top or even a much better full length floral dress which is fresh and easy on the eyes. The diversity is vast as today's fashion has leaked into every type creating amazing designs. You don't have to be a Michelle Obama designer to get the best church dress.

Dresses should always be modest and simple. Certainly no tank tops, tube tops or dresses with straps only to the shoulders, or short skirts. Skirts should always be one inch below the knee, and skin tight dresses are unacceptable especially revealing outfits. Dresses should cover the back and definitely not low cut on the front.

So choose wisely on what to wear to church. There are already church dresses and suits available for everybody and you can find them at any online retail stores and at your favorite mall. But always remember that church dresses should be safe, conservative and conventional so as to respect the house of the Lord.
