Summer Clothes For The Beach

Summer is almost here in the UK and many people will have beach trips planned for the next couple of months

. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones jetting off to another country for your summer holidays, or even if you will be staying within the UK, there will be more than enough for you to choose from in the way of fantastic beach fashion this year.

The summer season is always awash with amazing new styles that you can cash in on in order to remain looking stunning throughout the warmer weather, and 2012 is no different. There are loads of different clothes that you can pick up either on the high street or from your favourite online store right now, and you should be able to buy them all for a reasonable price. You might even be able to make the most of a summer sale or two to save you even more money when out clothes shopping, so you can buy more clothes for your summer wardrobe.

Here are some of this season's hottest beach clothes:

Shorts

If you want to be able to visit the beach without wearing a one piece swimsuit or a bikini, shorts are definitely the way to go. You can wear a pair of micro-shorts, hot pants or high waisted shorts with a bikini top or a t-shirt for an excellent look and will still be able to top up your tan in them. You can also find tasselled shorts that tie in well with this season's festival trend.

Bralet

Bralets are back! This 1980s/90s throwback clothing is back with a vengeance and it never looked better, especially if you wear them with shorts and choose ones in pastel, floral of neon colours. You could even take a leaf out of Rihanna's book and wear a bralet with a word printed on it - such as her iconic 'PEACE' bralet that she was photographed in earlier this year.

Maxi dresses

If you want to cover up for the beach, you don't need to reach for the dreaded kaftan top any longer, you can go for a maxi dress instead. You could simply slip a maxi dress on over the top of your bikini when you aren't in the water or sunning yourself, so you won't feel so on display. You can find all kinds of maxi dress styles as well, so no matter what dress size or body shape you are you will be able to find one to suit you.
