Summer Sports We Look Forward To Seeing In The Summer Olympics

There are many of us that when we hear about the summer olympics we get excited

. There are many who love the fact that they get to root for their country. There are others out there who are happy at the fact that they get to watch something else on TV rather than reruns. However, for many, there are so many sports to choose from that they don't know which to watch first. What are some of those more popular sports?

One of the first games that many like watching is hockey. While you think that it's a winter thing, there are some who watch it in the summer as well. This is just one of the things that we all like to watch. Nothing is more USA than hockey is. That's one thing we know so that is why many of us tune into this during the summer when the olympics is going on.

Another one that you might like to watch if you follow the olympics is swimming. Who doesn't like the water? This is what many people look forward to during the summer. There are many who look like they have lived in the water all their life they are that fast at swimming. However, it's even better when you country wins a medal.

Yet, there are still many more. There are some that have a thing for guns. If you have ever shot a gun, you would know how hard it is at times. That is why there are many watch this and consider it a sport. They watch to see how on target people can get. This, you can find during the summer as well. So, what are some more that many look forward to?

If you like things that go bang and you like people who have a keen eye, we have something that many might like to watch. This would be shooting. Some of you might wonder how this is a sport, but if you saw the targets that they have to try and hit you would see why they make it a sport. It's hard work, but all around the world there are some amazing shooters.

Americans love their baseball. There are many of us who watch our favorite teams on the television or listen to an announcer on the radio to see how our favorite teams are doing. So, everyone loves tuning in to root, root, root for the home team or rather the USA in this case. That is yet another popular summer sport during this time.

Last of all, when it comes to sports to be played during the summer olympics, that would be sailing and rowing. You can't do this during the winter as the water is frozen solid. So, many gather for the summer part to watch these two sports. It's a grand time to see how fast some of them move once the boat hits the water.

There are still many more sports than these that one can watch during the 2012 summer olympics. It's good to watch them. It shows people that you do care about your country. Some of your countries finest are there pouring their heart and soul into the event that they are partaking in. To many, it's your job to show your concern and your support by watching as many sports even if they aren't as popular.
