Great....for about 2 years

Our first one lasted.....over a decade??????? When we replaced it, we got one that lasted about 2 years. Great item, but didn't have a long life.

Very serviceable little unit

Bought this as a gift for someone who has a very limited kitchen and limited mobility. I had it shipped directly, so did not see the item, but I know it is being used frequently, and that it's owner is very happy with it.

Sunbeam Hot Shot

Being a long time user of this product, this is my third purchase over a 20 year period. I love the convenience. However, I don't like the new design. The old model was easier. You have to close the lid on this one first and the heat button is harder to push. Also the height is shorter and it's hard to get taller cups under it.

Great, use it everyday

I've had my Hot Shot for five years now and it's still going strong. I use it to heat water for tea, oatmeal, etc and it works wonderfully. I just bought one for my mother, who loved mine when she visited (it's also nice because she no longer has to worry about her tea pot boiling dry and potentially starting a fire). Great product. Super hot water in 60 seconds, and if you hold the button down you can make it boiling water in another 10 seconds.
