Fortunately, sunglasses also have other purposes, and some of them are very hush, hush but youll find out about them anyway!

Because sunglasses go over your eyes, engineers have discovered that they can use sunglasses in a new way, as a form of spy equipment. Everyone has seen a spy movie in which the spy has a tiny camera hidden within the frames of his Carrerra sunglasses. That spy is culling information, hiding his identity, and looking good all at the same time. Sunglasses arent just spy wear in the movies, there are private investigators and members of US law enforcement that have created similar devices for their own righteous purposes. Taking down a ring or drug dealers, a human trafficking syndicate, or busting that nanny who always seems to be way to nice to your stepson are all reasons to have a well hidden camera in your sunglasses.

Hiding a tiny camera in your sunglasses isnt the only thing people have seen in the movies. In another spy movie, the sunglasses were also a communication device that fit perfectly on the face. The interior side of the sunglasses turned into monitors, and a very tiny ear bud popped from the frames allowing the wearer to hear and be heard through the sunglasses. This type of super cool sunglasses hasnt been developed yet, but there are rumors circulating and a prototype is in the works but not for the general public.

Can you imagine being able to slip on a pair of designer shades and talk to your mom across the country? Who wouldnt want to get Skype for their Carrera sunglasses? Forget about Bluetooth! Everyone will be chatting it up with their Tom Fords or Ray Bans on. Unfortunately, technology as incredible as that wouldnt start out too cheap. For the low income family, buying a pair of VuShades will have to wait until the technology has been around long enough for the demand to die down.
