that there are 7 billion distinctive individuals who have the right to form opinions and make choices.They are free to make up their mind when it comes to things like food, housing, fashion and even home design.In terms of home decorations, everyone has so many different choices.It does not matter if you like traditional, modern, rustic, country or vintage home decor, the choice is yours.You have the choice of contemporary or traditional.As you will see, your design choices are never limited.

A pretty weird choice of design was shown on an episode of The Learning Channels Trading Spaces.It was so out of the box that people are still talking about it.The designer wanted to do something very different and special for the homeowners and surprise them.The homeowners could not believe her design choice. The shows designer decided to apply hay to an accent wall.

Quite naturally, the homeowners did not like it.They advised the designer that their two year old child would automatically eat the hay off of the walls.The designer responded by saying that they will have to tell their child not to pull the hay off of the wall.This episode goes to show that some designers will do anything in order to stand out in the crowd.However, in this particular instance, the homeowner was not pleased at all.

Look Ma, Im Floating on Water

But this does not mean that there are not any homeowners that are open to weird and crazy design choices.Floating staircases are a well known design that could be considered funky and beautiful at the same time.These types of stairs are great conversation starters.This is because they are a rather dramatic design choice.Many are designed to look as though they are suspended on top of the floor.Even though this is a tricky feast for the eyes, there are some people who do not like them because they are afraid of heights.

The design for many of these staircases only have space between each of the steps.The more modern designs are lacking handrails.A few of these stairs have been known to be stretched over things such as water fountains and pools.If there are children or older family members in the home, this could be a huge safety issue. But, if you are looking for a great way to save space and have a dramatic sense of style, then this is a great option for you.

Other Amusing Design Choices

There are other home design selections that are even stranger than floating stairs and walls covered in hay.Some people like to paint their rooms different funky colors. Some homeowners have artwork that belong in huge galleries and not in residential homes.Some homeowners like wallpapered walls and ceilings.But, there some who like the minimalist look so much that they want to live with concrete walls and floors.

All in all, there are many different design choices that you can select.Some people do not like flashy designs.However, others want to be totally different in every way possible.But, you have the freedom to do whatever you want to do.
