Systems Furniture and Cubicles Come in Many Different Types and Sizes

Systems furniture and cubicles come in many different types and sizes. These work areas are normally built to your specifications. Cloth covered panels can be purchased in heights from 30" to ceiling high. They can be manufactured in acoustical material, this enables sound to be absorbed, or you can purchase tackable panels, these have a hard surface under the cloth. The frames come in metal, wood, and plastic. Most systems furniture comes with the ability to install electricity and IT in the panels. There are three different locations that are set aside for this. The first is in the bottom of the panel, the second is in what is called the belt, or along the middle near the work surfaces, and the last is an area along the top cap of the panels. Most manufacturers provide the electric wiring and the electric out lets. Some include the wire for the IT, but if they have an area for the electric, there is an area for the IT.

You can also purchase all wood cubicles or workstations in sizes and configurations much the same as the cloth panel stations. The wood stations do not normally come in heights over 84". In today's market place you can purchase new, used, and remanufactured work station cubes. Remanufactured or refurbished are made of material that has been recovered or resurfaces to look like or close to new. New and refurbished usually come with a long-term warranty from the manufacturers to protect against defects, used usually have a short term, if any warranty.

All types of cubicles are available with work surfaces, hanging shelves, flipper door cabinets, tack boards, glass areas in the panels, etc. The customer is able to set these up almost any way they would like. One of the great advantages to using systems furniture over built in walls is that as your companies requirements change they can be easily reconfigured or moved to a different location. Once they are purchased you do not have the high constructions costs each time you need to make a change.

Be sure to spend time looking at the different options available to you before you purchase. Look at the quality of the product you are getting, and compare pricing. There are so many options that you are sure to find what you are looking for at a price point to meet your needs. This is something that you will probably have for a long time.
