TV-Guide USA: a quick and easy access to all TV
One of the worst things I can think of trying to remember that I saw the commercial
for the upcoming season of the Bachelorette, and is unable to remember what channel every hour or every day it is. I swear, its never happened to me, but many of you may have fallen victim to this crime. Is this Bachelorette, Lost, or a simple news, we all have at some point have been caught in the dark and do not need to remember our favorite programs.
Look no further fans of TV, TV-Guide USA is your one stop shop for all TV. This free application is in the Android Market will be a new best friend. Simply download the application, enter the zip code, and TV Guide will do the rest. Nifty is an application that loads the program real time auctions ANY carrier in the United States. Im not talking only Dish Network or DIRECTV I say it all. Even if it is a simple local channels, TV-Guide is the times, channels, and program descriptions for all the shows favorites. Not only that, but you can by movies or sporting events as well. And heres the best part, all you romantics video search can filter to restore the programs that really make your wife proud.
Click any channel and TV Guide will automatically fill in the current showing(yes, it tells you how much you missed Proposal), and gives show times and descriptions of the rest of the day. When you find the desired program, just long press of the TV series-Guide and you will guide the application. You can set reminders for the start of the program, 10 minutes earlier, an hour before or 6 hours before the start.
What I love: application versatility was amazing. I loved how the auction is complete, regardless of who was my supplier. This feature makes itself more desirable than the other applications that focus only on one cable / satellite provider. The possibility to set reminders for my favorite shows are also very useful, and certainly contributed to the overall positive experience.
What could improve: I would love to see the possibility to set the DVR to record from the application. It is undoubtedly difficult, and perhaps induce a paid subscription by the author, Jersey Productions. However, with the ability I think its worth the money. Others complain among fans is the inability to tell us whether the application is a new episode or repeat, and lack the ability to search by name show.
final verdict TV-Guide to the U.S. officially is the way to my home screen, which is quite implementation, taking into account the saturation of the applications that we saw in the market recently . Keep in mind that its free and takes only 780KB. This application is definitely worth a download, and some amendments may eventually obtain the desired 5 stars.
Whats next? Although there is currently no support for incoming messages to the improvements or new versions, I have no doubt that Jersey is the connection of Productions for mistakes and try to drive more downloads.
