Taboos Are No Longer An Issue

Some things in fashion are considered to be taboo and should never be infringed or at least this is what the stylists used to say

. One of these taboos is the animal print in combination with stripes and dots. Also, color schemes such as navy and black, white and cream or red and pick. These fashion rules used to be written in stone a few years ago, however this is no longer the case.

But these things have changed and the fashion standards are no longer what they used to be. Today, women are no longer afraid of mixing different types of prints, adding more color to color or combining vintage clothes with designer clothes. And all of this is happening while just a few years back designers where interested in bringing the Golden Hollywood style back. This style was focusing on matching and color coordinating. Today, women no longer have to be aware of matching all their clothes as the pulled together/eclectic look is fashionable.

This does not mean that we should start wearing the tackiest things that we find lying around. But you can start combining some accessories that you would have never been interested in combining before. For example, one thing that you can do is to combine some of the T-shirts and shirts that you usually wear with some colorful, large belts. Something else that you can do is to simply transform your outfits from simple to fashionable with the help of some interesting jewelry.

The underlining idea of this fashion trend is to wear something that will make you stand out in the crowd. Dressing according to your personal style is much better than dressing like everyone else. You can develop your style in time and at one point you will probably see how much you have changed the way you look.

Fashion has a way of influencing us even if we don't realize it this is why we should take from the fashion trends all that we consider is best for us. Try to break a fashion rule and see how you feel. A confident attitude will surely reflect on our outfits also.
