One thing that most people do in their lives is take pictures
. This has been something that people have done for years. Going back several years ago people would take pictures and develop them into slides. They would take the slides and put them into a projector and show their slides and tell their stories. That was the only way they could easily show people their pictures. Then they would store the slides in boxes and boxes. Over the years the slide projectors have changed and now people have the slides and it is hard to show them to anyone besides holding them up to the light.
Then people went to getting pictures developed from their cameras. They would take rolls of film and take the pictures. With the rolls of film they weren't sure if they were getting good or bad pictures, but they would have to pay to develop the entire roll. Usually you would get a handful of good pictures and the rest weren't so great. For years this was the way pictures were taken and for some they would take thousands of pictures so that they wouldn't miss anything in their lives or in their children's lives. The challenge was figuring out a way to store them and keeping the negatives with the pictures so that you could print the pictures again if you wanted to.
If you look in most cupboards or closets you will find that many people took all of their pictures and stored them in boxes. They are either in packages or just loose in a big box. In fact if the dates were not on the back of the pictures and you have waited years you might not even know who is in the pictures. This type of storage can be very overwhelming and even if you take the time to get them organized you might wonder what to even do with them or how to have them easy to look at.
Now things have gone digital and people have found the easiest way to store their pictures. They have stored them on discs or on a thumb drive or on their computers. They are able to organize the pictures easily and print them as they really need them. Many have wished they could take the slides and the prints and get them into the same organized fashion. The great thing is that with photo scanning services now available it can be done and it can be very easy. It is so great to see that technology has improved so much to make things so easy.
