Taking Three Steps For Applying The Simple Law Of Attraction

Power, the kind that makes you in control of your life

, was the reaffirming thought that I brought away from viewing the movie, "The Secret. "Whether I am happy or sad depends on my thoughts that are controlling my emotions. Those emotions are controlling my actions. Sometimes I am happy, sometimes I'm not. It's up to me and my thoughts, and how those thoughts govern my emotions, and thus my actions. Using the law of attraction I can change my life by aligning it to reach certain goals that I have set.

With the law of attraction, implement these three techniques to change your life.

1. Visualization.If you're having problems focusing on your goals, use this technique, but it isn't easy.

This way and that way is how your mind is usually pulled when you're trying to focus. Worries, deadlines, and problems keep us in the dark when it comes to the visualization of our goals. A good method to opt for when you're trying to concentrate is to quit what you're doing and do something that makes you happy. By engaging this very important tip, the law of attraction will become easier for you. Channel thinking into the business of your goals, your dreams toward realization, that should your main focus once you've regained control of your mind.


Like attracts like is the basic tenet of the law of attention and this is how you use visualization and positive thinking. Belief in any god or any spiritual being is inconsequential to the law, your thoughts are what channel the good, or the bad, aspects of life to you. Consciously or subconsciously, we are responsible for what happens in our lives, we attract happenings by our thoughts.

2. Gratitude.Giving thanks is so much a part of our lives or our worship, we often overlook the fact that it can be life-changing.

Gratitude has had a very powerful effect on my life. Giving thanks makes me happy, makes me a better person. As I've grown, I've come to recognize that a simple act of thanks can be transforming.

Upon awakening give thanks every day.

Give yourself positive energy to get through the day - before you arise list each item you can think of for which you are grateful.

Challenges are a gift, be grateful for them.

Are you a complainer or an optimist? How you deal with challenges makes you one or the other. Don't whine, view each challenge as an opportunity.

Having a bad day? Sit down and make a gratitude list.

Gratitude and joy are two feelings you can conjure up to drive away the blues. Making a gratitude list is the perfect antidote to a bad day.

What you have may seem too little for thanks, but it isn't.

Everybody can see ways in which their lives can be improved. Yearning for more or better circumstances is human nature. Meanwhile, be thankful for what you have. A fundamental rule of the law of attraction is being grateful for what you do have, no matter how measly it may seem.

3. Putting off action is a bad practice.

The movie, "The Secret" has a rather simplistic view of the law of attraction. The action required to manifest wealth is not given enough play, it seems that visualization and positive thinking is all that's needed. Wishing and hoping alone won't make the law of attraction work for you, it requires considerably more.

Action, that's what this feel-good movie skims over. The law of attraction requires action.

Kids, work, financial difficulties, and we could go on and on, are pressing things that all too often successfully thwart your attempts necessary to getting the law of attraction working for you.


If this is the case, you need to do a few things to prevent life's distractions from sidetracking you.

Rolling the same old idea over and over in your mind will lead nowhere except into a bigger and bigger circle. Perfection is another bugaboo. Always strive for it, but don't let it stop you. A cup with a chip is better than no cup at all. Take your time, conserve your strength, be methodical.

Keeping the guidance above in mind, you can make the law of attraction work for you. Your new life awaits.
