Finally has been the use of safety features instituted in most of the vehicles for racing. In as much as the racing vehicles are built for speed, the need to have these vehicles guarantees the safety of the driver has been paramount. For this, there have been several changes that have been used in todays production vehicles such as air bags and automatic braking system .
