Engineers need to perform the testing activities with a lot of concentration and dedication, as one fault may lead to another and it may take the product nowhere other than the scrap room. These testing activities cover all aspects of the product or system including function or components, performance of the product or the software, systems and services. Thus, as a software test engineer one must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the domain they are responsible for testing, without which issues would get created which would affect the company in the later stages.
