These are a very beneficial exercise that can shock your body into building muscle. I love this exercise and it is the backbone of my mass gaining routines.

3) Bent over row A good all round mass builder and one that definitely promotes the growth of biceps, not just the back muscles. Heavy bent over rowing is an excellent mass builder.

4) DIps Often known as the squat for the upper body and often neglected from many bodybuilding routines. Leaning forward this exercise really hits the chest, front deltoids and triceps hard especially with a dip belt and some extra weight.

5) Militray press The ultimate shoulder exercise. This can add some serious mass to build those massive shoulders you have always wanted. Enough of cable and machine presses, man up and military press to start adding muscle mass to your shoulders

Too many people waste time doing endless sets of bicep curls, tricep pushdowns and chest flyes, Yes these exercises have their place in a good routine but they should not be what you are concentrating on. Spend more time trying to improve these lifts and I guarantee you will gain!
