. This is so true but we never realize this. Most of the people nowadays live to eat, and not eat to live. The purpose of the food is to provide the nutritional force to the body so that it can function properly. Food shelter and clothes form the extreme basic of the human existence. It is indeed very necessary to form very healthy eating habits. And if we do not create such, then there is a risk of developing eating disorders. We may not be generally aware of such eating disorders like:-
Anorexia nervosa(AN), where the person does not maintain a healthy body weight and has an obsessive fear of gaining weight
Diabulimia is where a diabetic person deliberately manipulates the insulinlevels making efforts to control their weight.
Pica is where a person craves for eating things like chewing or licking non-food items, these can include such things as chalk, plaster, paint chips, baking soda, starch, glue, ice, cigarette ashes etc.
