The Tuacahn Amphitheater provides an environment to enjoy the warm summer and fall evenings in this Southern Utah city while watching some of Broadway's greatest productions.
In the city you will also find the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. This site has some of the oldest and best-preserved dinosaur tracks in the world.
Within a 10-acre area, more than 1,000 dinosaur tracks have been found. Researchers have been able to identify skin prints and impressions made by tail drags and swimming movements, dating back 205 million years.
The Pine Valley Mountains provide a great place to hike, backpack, ride horses, camp, fish, hunt, canoe, fishing, and enjoying other various outdoor sports. If you like the outdoors, these mountains are a great place to visit.
There are many historical sites that can be found in in this city. One of the most popular is the LDS St. George Temple.
The large white temple serves as an important landmark in the area. The temple was built by Mormon pioneers, who began building the temple in 1871, finishing it in 1877. This temple is especially poignant because it was the first to be completed in Utah.
Visiting this city can provide many unique opportunities to try new things and see new places. With so many different events and things to see in this great city you can see it is a great place for all to visit and offers a great place for many to live.
