. The reason I have a determination to be a medical transcriptionist is because for one I love working in the medical field. Learning new literature is always exciting and very informative. I feel like I and my family would be proud of me. Doing this is very important to me. My parents watch my son while I am at work. I feel like I am missing out on his life and giving them new responsibilities that they really shouldn't have. I was home crying about how miserable I am that I don't have a career that I am proud to say meaningful. I get paid less than a garbage man, and that not anything to brag on to my other family and friends who are successful in jobs, that they get out of bed and smile about. My life deserves meaning and purpose to encourage my son that it's possible to be there for him and fulfill a dream. Just to be there and participate someday in his classroom activities, celebrate family events, being able to work around my family schedule, bringing my son to his kidney specialist. My future involves me thinking for myself, I want to definitely work from home and earn real money for myself, protect my family, getting my husband to fulfill his dreams before he becomes too ill from his diabetes that tends to get the best of him. I want a career that my parents don't feel like they are ashamed of. I feel that being an MT is too good to be true. To never have to answer to anyone but myself is truly a dream. I want to also get my entrepreneur/ business management degree to branch my own team of MTs if I am successful enough on my own.
