The fact that he likes to attack menacingly rather than holding up play is one of the many aspects that have made him a valuable team player. Barcelonas Lionel Messi is also another notable player who has made significant contributions. Though his team took home the runner up trophy, his contribution of 50 goals during the championships proved significant. This Argentinian super star broke a number of records including the ones for the most number of goals scored in a season.
