The best way to cure a hangover is to prevent it: if you're sober enough while you're out in bars and nightclubs, then make sure you get a drink or two with vitamins in it, such as Vodka and Orange Juice. Also, Make sure you drink plenty of water before you go home, and eat something filling like McDonalds or KFC to help increase your body's alcohol absorption. While that annoying headache can be lessened the next morning, it's always better if you don't have to deal with it at all.

The next morning after your big night at abar or nightclub, the first thing you should do is load up on a bottle of water. If you're not planning to get out of bed the entire day, keep it by your bedside; for those who need to get up and about, make sure you drink plenty of water before you leave the home as the water will help flush out the toxins. Also grab a banana: they're filled with good vitamins and can help your body absorb the alcohol. Whatever you do, don't get a strong coffee. Coffee dehydrates, and your body will just feel worse and worse and worseand you'll probably feel sicker, too.

If you feel like you're going to throw up as disgusting as that is let yourself: while throwing up feels disgusting, it's the best way to get rid of toxins in your body. And if you really want to get rid of some of those toxins, then sweat it out. Even though running or walking feels like such a challenge, getting the blood pumping around your body is not a bad thing. Go for a quick jog or powerwalk when you wake up: even though you'll feel like throwing up while you do it, your body will thank you afterwards.


The most popular folk myth for curing a hangover is more alcohol. While your body is having to deal with absorbing the new alcohol, it will ignore the old and give you a temporary moment of relief. This doesn't last forever though, and it's probably best when you have absolutely no other option. If you're at home all day, drink a Bloody Mary and while your body is dealing with the new alcohol, eat food and drink water and juices to help your body recover.

Of course, a hangover is better prevented than cured, but the reality is that when you're drunkyou just don't care. So the next time that headache wakes up next to you in bed, punch it in the face with one of these cures, and get on with your day.
