Amboseli National Park stands out as a gem of Kenya's best safari destination
. The park stretches 3,000sqkm across Kenya and Tanzania border. It's 260km away from Nairobi the capital city. This is the third most visited park after the Masaai Mara Game Reserve where visitors enjoy watching wildebeest and other grazers cross the Mara River which is heavily infested with crocodiles. The second park is Lake Nakuru National Park.
Amboseli National Park promises a nice safari as you will get to enjoy where Kenya's best of untamed animals roam freely. The park is home to the Elephants, wildebeests, lions, zebras, impala, giraffes and many more. Elephants however have made this place to be very famous and they move in large herds. Amboseli National Park has a nice climate that's mostly hot and dry. The warmest degrees get up to 33 centigrade and the coldest is around 27 degree centigrade. It receives an annual rainfall of around 300 mm per annum. There are two seasons distributed between April/May and November/ December. You can easily access this place through road. There also three airstrips in the park namely: Kilimanjaro Town, Empusel gate and Kilimanjaro Buffalo Lodge. There are also many lodges around to ensure that your comfort is well taken care off.
