Salespeople promise that the meeting will only be 60 to 90 minutes long, but they often last a lot longer. Sometimes people will agree to buying timeshare just because they want to leave!

If they are not paid, the owner"s credit is ruined. If the owner passes away before getting rid of the timeshare, their child inherits the burden.

They claim that they have contacts in high places, and have all the right resources for selling timeshare "" but only if the owner pays them an upfront fee. Owners feel desperate and pay the upfront fee in hopes of finally getting rid of their property. Unfortunately, they only lose money, since most of these companies are scams.

The best way to get out of a timeshare scheme is to request help from professionals who will develop a good, individualized exit plan for clients. The only good timeshare company is one that offers relief "" not profits "" to those who want out.
