Shirdi, famous for its holy shrine of Shirdi Sai Baba, is a town in the state of Maharashtra. Shirdi is located approximately 296 km from Mumbai. It is known as the "Land of Sai". Shirdi is located at a distance of 109 km from Aurangabad. Shirdi is well connected to Aurangabad by road and rail.

However, many passenger and express trains from Aurangabad pass through Manmad railway station (MMR), which is only 58.6 kms from Shirdi. Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) operates buses from Manmad to Shirdi on a regular and frequent basis. Taxis are also easily available from Manmad railway station to Shirdi, and the travel time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Nanded Manmad Passenger (57542), Nanded Daund Junction Passenger (57516), Ajanta Express (17064), Aurangabad Dadar Jan Shatabdi (12072), Nizamabad Pune Passenger (51422), Dharmabad Manmad Marathwada (Composite) Express (17688), Sachkhand SF Express (12715), Tapovan Express (17618), Kacheguda Manmad Passenger (57561) and Nandigram Express (11402) are the daily trains from Aurangabad towards Shirdi. Fare in a sleeper class is Rs. 120. Trains from Aurangabad Junction railway station reach Manmad Junction station in about 2 to 3 hours.

Some trains from Aurangabad have a halt at Kopargaon railway station (KPG), which is only 16 kms from Shirdi. Taxis and jeeps are easily available from Kopargaon railway station to Shirdi, and the travel time is about half an hour.

Shirdi airport is under construction. By 2018, air travel will be possible from other major cities to Shirdi. For staying so many hotels are available. Sai Leela Hotel Shirdi is one of them.
