The new 9300 Curve 3G is Blackberrys latest update to their ever popular "Curve" range of mobile handsets

. This new model retains many of the features of the 8520 model, but does make a huge leap forward in terms of the network speeds it utilises, resulting in an excellent online experience for it users.

The one area where previous versions in this range of phones did lack was the connection speeds whilst online. This new model now includes 3G, so everything seems much quicker than before, making the experience altogether more pleasurable. Web pages certainly load at a much quicker rate, despite using the poorly received web browser that comes with Blackberry OS 5.0. The phone however will be able to update to version 6.0 when available. Blackberry App World has grown into one of the most impressive platforms for downloading applications available. Thanks to the phones improved HSDPA features, any applications downloaded do so in impressively quick time. Local connectivity options are well catered for, with the phone supporting Bluetooth 2.1, thus the handset can be connected to a range of products without the need for wires. A stereo headphone jack is also included, opening up a host of headphone options to the user.

Blackberry handsets are renowned for their messaging facilities, and the 9300 Curve 3G maintains this trend. Thanks to the full Qwerty keypad, the phone really lends itself to people who frequently message or e mail. Both of these feature benefit from the handsets excellent unified inbox. Rather than simply displaying incoming e mails from a single account, this new version allows you to link several accounts, making it easy to read all of your messages in the one place. E mails is not the only area where this is of benefit however, SMS and Blackberry messengers threads can also be displayed, as well as messages received on some of the handsets native application such as Ebay, Twitter and Facebook. This is a very neat addition to the phone which will save the user time by allowing simple navigation and management of mail in one location. As always the battery life impresses on the Blackberry, with a huge 14.5 days offered in standby and 4.5 hours of talk time. A 2 mega pixel camera offers the user the opportunity to take snaps whilst on the go.

It is hard to imagine another handset that performs as admirably as the Blackberry 9300 Curve 3G when it comes to messaging, with a combination of great features and the excellent qwerty keypad.
