The CECT I9+++ iPhone Clone compared To The Airphone: How Do They Compare?

The CECT I9+++ iPhone Clone compared To The Airphone: How Do They Compare

?

I've gotten a few emails asking me to discuss the differences and similarities between the CECT i9+++ and the air phone. It's easy to get confused about these two models because sellers will often use both phrases or terms in auctions or ads that are selling the phones. They do this, I suppose, to get more traffic and more bids. So, in the article below, I will go over how these two models are similar to and different from one another. Hopefully, this will help you to determine which might work out to be better for you.

First though, you should know that they function in roughly the same way. They are the oversized, touch screen, "all in one" phones that have been so popular over the last several years. They offer: web browsing; music and video playing and recording; email; messaging; radio; e book / digital readers; Java; and bluetooth, to name only a few things. They are also both quad bands that work on GSM networks. They don't require any carrier or contract and the pre paid sim cards for these are often very inexpensive for lots of talk, text, and data time.

They also have WiFi and can accommodate much more memory than previous models. It's not unusual to see them with up to 32GB of memory. They also often come preloaded with Skype, msn, facebook, and many Google applications to name only a few options.

Now, on to some of the differences. One of the major ways that the two of these differ is that the i9+++ is a dual sim phone while the airphone typically only supports one sim card. This is made necessary because the air model is so thin that it can't accommodate the removable battery and additional sim card. However, many consumers feel that this is a fair trade off for the sleek size.

As you may have figured out by now, the airphone is most definitely the most slim of the two (although the i9+++ is also a skinny and light weight phone.) The dimensions of the 3 plus are 116 X 63 X 13mm. It weighs 133 grams (with it's battery inserted.) In contrast, the dimensions of the air phone are 115 X 63 X 8mm. And, it only weighs 110 grams. The only really popular CECT models which I can think of off of the top of my head that compare to the weight of this one are the original i9 and the KA08. The screen on this model is also slightly larger at 3.5 inches rather than 3.2. Both phones offer many more pages of icons than were previously available but the air models that I've seen have a bit more.

In terms of price these come in at pretty similar prices. Both can usually be had for well under $100 (depending on memory) but the air phone is usually a bit more expensive since it was released a bit later. People often ask me which of these is a better phone. The answer to this really does depend on which things you value the most. If what you are looking for is the thinnest, lightest iClone out there, then you would probably be happiest with the airphone. But, if you really want a traditional dual sim phone and don't mind having a bit more weight in exchange for a removable battery, then you would probably be quite pleased with the 3 plus model. The original i9 is probably still the most popular clone out there, so there's a lot to like about both of these phones.
