Calories can be converted into energy, something that can fuel the body. Distance is measured by meters while energy is measured by calories. With that in mind, we can say that the bigger the calorie content of a food or fruit, the bigger the energy that we can derive from that food or fruit after eating.

Calories will keep us warm during days when the temperature is cold. However, be smart and sensitive in eating food or fruits that has high calorie content. Remember that too much of anything is bad for the health.

If you take in more calories than what you can burn up or use, odds are, that the extra calorie or "energy" will be kept by the body in the form of fats.
