With that thought in mind, the goal of TheQuietWitness.com is to effectively make the case, using the Bible and with the right voice, for w8ing until marriage before entering into a sexual relationship. The fact is, simply by taking a step back, it becomes clear why this is sometimes difficult for teens and young adults. If we are taught that sex is meant to be an incredible journey we share with someone we love with all of our hearts and souls, then how can it be bad, right? And if we are taught that it is a natural act for humans, including the physical pleasure, then why are there so many negative connotations in the media and elsewhere?

It is meant to be an incredible journey and there is nothing at all shameful about sex. But whats sometimes missing in the message is that its also meant to be shared by two people who have made a vow before their family and God to share the rest of their lives together. Psalm 25:21 says, Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. This is the heart of the matter; we are taught to wait on thee w8 until the time comes when we choose our spouse, w8 until the time when God has blessed the union w8 until we are joined by marriage. Its then we can finally understand what others meant when they spoke of the incredible emotions that go along with sex. Its not the act itself they spoke of, but our heart and soul that overflows because we are sharing this with our husband or our wife. Make no mistake, the physical act is incredible as well, its just when the emotional binds that tie us are also present, its only then we fully understand the importance of Gods message and what He intended all along for each of us. Sex is nothing to be ashamed of, but it is an incredible responsibility.
